1 Corinthians

Ben Palka

6/1/25

Paul calls the church to a deeper understanding of what it means to follow Christ, not through self-promotion or comparison but through faithful service. Pastor Ben Palka walks through 1 Corinthians 4:1–7, where believers are reminded that they are servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. What matters most is not how others view us but whether we are found faithful by the One who truly judges. Paul warns against pride and boasting, asking, “What do you have that you did not receive?” The call is clear: humility, not self-importance, marks those who live in light of the gospel. The church is invited to rest in God’s grace and live not for the praise of people but for the commendation of Christ.
